Who are we?
RTM Craftwork is an independent handyman company that does a wide variety of jobs in and around the house or business premises.
This could include for example: renovating a complete bathroom or toilet including all the connections and tiling, completely renewing a kitchen including all connections for water, drainage and electricity, paintjobs inside and outside the building, designing and building various solutions for the living room or bedroom, building furniture… you name it! And we also welcome smaller jobs.

What is our history?
RTM Vakwerk VS RTM Craftwork
Construction company RTM Vakwerk stopped existing, after almost 10 years, on 3 August 2018 when my wife Annika and I moved to Aruba and started working there for several months for the Caribbean Sea Jazz festival. It was a wonderful experience and we got a taste of living in a sunny climate, so we stayed there longer. I went to work at C2 Civil & Construction, a construction company where I worked as a foreman doing formwork, making concrete structures, house building and various other jobs.
While I was working there, the opportunity came along to convert a large family home into a group accommodation and then run it too! We took this with both hands and spent about a year renovating and improving it (with lots of smaller and bigger jobs in between) until it was rentable.
Then we managed this beautiful residence with pleasure for several months, until the Corona pandemic also struck Aruba and all tourism ceased right away….
After more than 2 years on Aruba, we decided to return to Europe and found a job managing a well-run Maison d’Hotes in Provence, southern France.
There we were able to continue learning the management profession for about 2 years. In the meantime, I also did some nice (and needed!) maintenance and new construction jobs for the residence, did the maintenance of the 5 hectares of garden, maintained the 2 swimming pools and when this was over, we finally followed our feelings and left for Spain. That’s where we are now to enjoy the Spanish life, and at a slow pace look for a house which can be converted into a nice guesthouse for ourselves.
To be able to work in my old profession here in Spain as well, I have decided to give RTM Vakwerk a relaunch!
So now, as of 1 January 2023, we are back, for the same kind of quality jobs as in the Netherlands, Aruba and France.
And to also start serving the local Dutch, Belgians, Germans, English and more, a slightly more international name has been created:
RTM Craftwork.
